General Information- Why Alkaline water? Much of our food intake like meats are acidic in nature. Our bodies also produce lactic acid when we overwork our muscles. Alkaline water helps our bodies re-balance its alkaline/acid ratio, besides taking alkaline foods like vegetables. - Why choose micro-clustered water? Water is made up of water molecules that cluster together. The clusters are not the same -- from as few as four to a cluster of more than ten molecules. Smaller clusters allow water to enter cells more easily, increasing its hydrating properties. It has also been observed that micro-clustered water contains a higher amount of dissolved oxygen than most other forms of water.
- Water is essential for maintaining a healthy body. It is a natural moisturiser for our skin, transports nutrients to our cells and flushes out waste during our digestion process. It escapes our body through respiration, urination or perspiration. Hence, it is important that we consume enough water to replace the daily water loss from our bodies.
- Water enters our cells in two ways -- through the cell membrane and through tiny water channels called aquaporins. Micro-clustering enables water to go through those tiny aquaporins more quickly, thus hydrating the cell faster. Proper hydration increases blood plasma valume and also increases the ability of haemoglobin to bind with oxygen. This results in an increase in oxygen to the body tissue and leads to better energy levels and overall well-being.
