General Information- Pablo Virgin Coconut Oil is high in vitamins and minerals. It also contains 56% lauric acid, an acid which occurs in breast milk. Lauric acid is known to have anti-inflammatory properties that help alleviate conditions like eczema and acne.
- Virgin Coconut Oil comprises fat which are called Medium Chain fatty acids. Most of the other common oils we use to cook with contain Long Chain fatty acids. The Medium Chain fatty acids in virgin coconut oil are much easier to break down within the body. As they are converted to energy more quickly, the body doesn't store as much fat. It can thus assist in weight loss.
